In the Restaurant

في المطعم

Asha : I’m so glad we could finally come here for dinner.

آشا: أنا سعيدة جدا بمجيئنا هنا اخير لتناول العشاء.

Liz : Me too. The reviews I have read about this place were amazing.

ليز: وأنا أيضا. جميع التعليقات التي قرأتها عن هذا المطعم كانت مدهشة.

Asha : Anne told me she came with her husband yesterday and they really loved it.

أشا: لقد قالت لي آن انها أتت مع زوجها بالأمس وانهم حقا احبوه.

Liz : Really? That’s nice.

ليز: بالفعل؟ هذا لطيف.

Asha : I’m thinking of having dinner here on my anniversary. It depends on how it goes tonight.

آشا: انا افكر بتناول العشاء هنا في ذكرى عيد زواجي. سيعتمد هذا على كيفية سير الأمور الليلة.

Liz : I think I’ve made up my mind now. I will order the spare ribs with steamed vegetables.

ليز: اعقتد اني قررت ما اريد. سأطلب ضلوع لحم الخنزير الرقيقة مع خضار مطهي على البخار.

Asha : Nice choice. I will have the baked potatoes and roast chicken.

آشا: اختيار جيد. سأتناول بطاطس مخبوزة ودجاج مشوي.

Liz : Waiter, can you take our order please?

ليز: أيها النادل، هل يمكنك تسجيل طلبنا؟

Waiter : Certainly I’d be happy to. What are you ladies having tonight?

النادل: بالتأكيد، يسعدني ذلك. ماذا ستتناولون الليلة سيداتي؟

Liz : I will have the spare ribs with steamed vegetables. Can you tell me how the ribs are prepared?

ليز: سأتناول ضلوع لحم الخنزير الرقيقة وخضروات مطهية على البخار. هل يمكنك وصف كيف يتم اعداد الضلوع؟

Waiter : After marinating them overnight the chef slow roasts them for 5 hours so that the meat is tender and falling off the bone.

النادل: بعد نقعها بالخل يقوم الطاهي بشيها ببطء لمدة خمس ساعات حتى تصبح اللحم لينة وتنفصل عن العظم.

Liz : What about the sauces?

ليز: ماذا عن الصلصة؟

Waiter : There is light honey barbeque sauce drizzled over the ribs when they are done.

النادل: اثناء طهي الضلوع نرشها بصلصة الشواء بالعسل الخفيفة.

Liz : That sounds nice but I don’t like too much sauce. Can you ask the chef to serve the sauce on the side instead so that I can use the amount that I want?

ليز: يبدو ذلك جيدا ولكن لاإريد الكثير من الصلصة. هل يمكنك ابلاغ الطاهي بتقديم الصلصة جانبا لأتمكن من استخدام الكمية التي أريد.

Waiter : Absolutely. I’m sure that won’t be a problem at all.

النادل: بالطبع. ان متأكد انها لن تكون مشكلة.

Liz : In the meantime can you bring us some iced tea?

ليز: في نفس الوقت هل يمكنك احضار بعض الشاي المثلج لنا؟

Waiter : I will bring them to you right away. What beverage would you like to have with the meal?

النادل: سأحضره على الفور. ما المشروب الذي تريدينه مع الوجبة؟

Liz : I will have a glass of wine. What would pair best with the meal?

ليز: سأتناول كاس من النبيذ. الأفضل الذي يتناسب مع الوجبة

Waiter : what about you madam? Have you decide on your order?

النادل: ماذا عنك سيدتي؟ هل قررت ما ستطلبين؟

Asha : I will have the baked potato with roast chicken and sparkling water with the meal.

آشا: ساتناول بطاطس مخبوزة مع الدجاج المشوي ومياه فوارة مع الوجبة.

Waiter : Your meals should be ready in about 15 minutes.

النادل: ستكون وجباتكما جاهزة خلال خمسة عشر دقائق.

Liz : Can you remove this bread from the table?

ليز: هل يمكنك ازالة هذا الخبز من المائدة؟

Waiter : Yes of course. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to make you more comfortable while you wait.

النادل: نعم بالطبع. دعوني اعلم إذا كان هناك اي شيء يمكنني القيام به لراحتكم خلال انتظاركم.

Asha : James first told me about this place and asked that I try it. He said he eats here quite often.

آشا: جيمس اول من روى لي عن هذا المكان واقترح ان اجربه. قال انه يأكل هنا كثيرا.

Liz : I am looking forward to my meal. The aroma is wonderful and the atmosphere is great.

ليز: اني اتطلع إلى وجبتي. الرائحة والمناخ العام هنا رائع.

Asha : Well let’s dig in and see if it tastes as good as it looks.

آشا: حسنا دعينا نأكل ونرى إذا طيب المذاق كما يبدو.

Liz : This is wonderful; it is fresh and very tasty.

ليز: هذا رائع، طازج ومذاقه لذيذ.

Asha : Yes I agree with you. I really have to thank James for telling me about this restaurant.

آشا: نعم اتفق معك. يجب بالفعل شكر جيمس لتزكيته هذا المطعم.

Liz : I have relatives coming to town this weekend and I will definitely arrange to bring them to dinner here, remind me to make the booking before we leave.

ليز: لدي اقارب قادمون إلى المدينة في عطلة الأسبوع هذه، وبالتأكيد سأعمل على ان نتناول العشاء سويا هنا، ذكريني ان اقوم بالحجز قبل مغادرتنا.
